It's been awhile since either of us have blogged on here, so let me take a couple of minutes to catch you up.
Houses: No movement, although we just had a new furnace / air conditioner installed in the MN townhouse...not to help sell it, but because the air conditioner was leaking all over the furnace...Ugh! The stress of 3 residences to maintain and pay for continues to weigh heavily on our minds.
Travel Schedule: Not as crazy, believe it or not. I was in Memphis until mid-July and have been working either from MN or CO since then. The Memphis project was recently extended, however, so I will start going there M - Th in a few weeks. My weekends will be split between MN and CO. I have been able to spend 2 full weeks in CO over the past month, which was such a treat for us! Most take it for granted that they get to wake up next to, eat dinner with and hang out at night with their spouse, so it was great to feel like we had a somewhat "normal" relationship from that perspective.
Jason attended a conference in Del Ray Beach, FL in early August, which I joined him at, and is headed to Moscow next week for the World Championships! Unfortunately, I am not joining him there. :( We were able to enjoy a small perk of so much travel by both getting upgraded from Coach to First Class on our trip to Florida...the free meal, wine and extra legroom was a small reward for our crazy travel schedules...nice!
BTW, our Colorado roommate has found his own place and my friend, Kathy, who was staying in the MN townhouse has headed back to Chicago for the school year, so it's back to just the 2 of us!
I think that about catches everyone up...
